Fixed Bridges
Prior to the introduction of dental implants, fixed bridges were the usual treatment to replace missing teeth.
A fixed bridge spans the gap where a tooth or teeth are missing, thereby giving the appearance that all teeth are present and restoring full chewing ability that is often lacking when teeth are missing.
The bridge is cemented in and is not removable, giving a sturdy result. And with today’s beautiful porcelains, fixed bridges can look very natural so that no one will notice.
